BECOME it!” The acrylic painting features a young Black girl daydreaming about her potential as an analytical chemist. There is no question as to “if” she belongs. She has been inspired by seeing images of those that look like her that have walked the very path that she wishes to embark upon. This cover is the first in the journal's Diversity and Inclusion series aimed to promote the creative work from chemists in BIPOC communities.
